FabFi is an open-source, FabLab-grown system using common building materials and off-the-shelf electronics to transmit wireless ethernet signals across distances of up to several miles. With Fabfi, communities can build their own wireless networks to gain high-speed internet connectivity---thus enabling them to access online educational, medical, and other resources.

We understand the prototype as the result of a negotiated amount to consensual core positions. More than a closed design, rather than the description of an object, the prototype is defined here as the conjunction of a series of proposals, the realization of a series of statements that we intend to defend.
The prototype presented here is derived from an open process of evaluation of different prototypes option, submitted under the criteria of figurative architectural, logical and constructive and energy efficiencies, which is now in the process of further development.

Solar house was object of Summer school held in Iaac on July 2009.
