The pilot project for the Fab Academy was the course held in 2008 by Neil Gershenfeld "How To Make (almost) Anything".

Final Presentation took place in the Fab Lab. Students from Fab Lab Bcn, Amsterdam, Iceland, and United Statest were part of HTMAA as a Fab Academy Local Tutor trainning.
