Fab Academy is based on a distributed education of digital fabrication principle. Fab Labs around the world will be the campus of this new educational and vocational "university". Professors located in any part of the world will lecture and teach through video conference systems, using the internet as the main sharing tool, always based on local activities, projects and hands on development.

Using a Learning Management System (LMS), professors and students will publish, share and discuss projects and classes topics. Some content will be accessible for not registered users.

Fab Academy is based on two main options to learn digital fabrication:

Fab Academy Diploma, consists in a 9 month program. Is the result of the sum of Fab Academy Certificates.

Fab Academy Certificates, are individual certificates that could be taken in courses of one or two weeks (depending on the selection). This courses will take specific subjects of digital fabrication.
