Small products development

Previously, the Modela was used to design circuit boards. Now, students took advantage of it for molding and casting. It is really entertaining, but it is also important to realize which the applications can be. For instance, this method of manufacturing could be employed for food, or the creation of small objects where components can be inserted, such as resistors, sensors, LEDs, switches, etc. The surface can have a perfect finishing too, leading us to think about materials. Therefore, what if besides using cement, we had transparent plastics, paper, sugar or vanilla ice cream?! Pictures here.
