A short time after the course I discovered that a patent already exist about illuminated rock-climbing hold : US 20100004098 A1 . Honestly I didn't know that it exist but I am not surprise that someone find this idea interesting. For me it's just a pain to put a patent on an idea as many people could have this idea without been enforce to put it in a protected box which doesn't allow dissemination and evolution. I hope the owner didn't know the Creative Commons Principles. For me, Creative Commons is an excellent concept as It permit to share your knowledge and creativity with everybody. Copyright all right reserved make your idea useless as it overprotects it. Creative Commons licenses allow you to change this "all right reserved" into "Some Right Reverved". All you have to do is to decide which kind of license you want.

I chose CC BY-NC-SA ( Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike ) because this license lets others remix, tweak, and build upon my work non-commercially, as long as they credit me and license their new creations under the identical terms.
